| ENLACE Clean Water Project El Capulin, Ahuachapan, El Salvador The Clarence Foundation is helping this local organization bring desperately needed clean water to the remote communities of El Capulin in northwestern El Salvador. Currently, residents must walk to a contaminated river to haul drinking water back in large flasks. Once completed, this new water system will service approximately 2,250 people, including a community health clinic and two schools. Severe health problems among the population will be alleviated while allowing local people to increase their agricultural production and income.
