ARAPAMESU provides education and employment preparation to youth from families that are experiencing extreme poverty. These adolescents, ages 13-19, spend much of their time on the street and are at high risk of engaging in behaviors such as drug use, prostitution and other crimes. This program provides a positive alternative by offering intensive one-on-one job training, while matching the youth with volunteer mentors outside of the program to provide unbiased support and guidance.
